2007年12月29日上午9點,國家高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)(gong)路網(wang)寧(ning)波至(zhi)樟木公(gong)(gong)路的重要組成部分----重慶至(zhi)遂寧(ning)高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)(gong)路正式通(tong)車運營。至(zhi)此(ci),山城(cheng)重慶市的高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)(gong)路通(tong)車里(li)程超過(guo)了一千公(gong)(gong)里(li)。
渝(yu)遂高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)是(shi)由中(zhong)國(guo)鐵道(dao)(dao)建(jian)筑總公(gong)司(si)與(yu)重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)發展有限公(gong)司(si)共同出資(zi)組建(jian)的(de)(de)(de)重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)鐵發遂渝(yu)高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)有限公(gong)司(si)負責建(jian)設、運營(ying)和(he)管理,項目(mu)總投資(zi)約47.5億元,計劃建(jian)設工期四年,實際提前一年完成(cheng)(cheng)。渝(yu)遂高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)起于重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)市(shi)主城(cheng)區的(de)(de)(de)沙(sha)坪(ping)垻,經壁(bi)山、銅梁(liang)、潼南三縣,全長約112公(gong)里。它是(shi)國(guo)家高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)網寧波(bo)至樟木公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)的(de)(de)(de)重(zhong)要(yao)(yao)組成(cheng)(cheng)部分,也是(shi)重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)市(shi)公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)網主骨(gu)架“二(er)環八射”的(de)(de)(de)重(zhong)要(yao)(yao)路(lu)(lu)(lu)段(duan)。線(xian)路(lu)(lu)(lu)東接重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)市(shi)高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu)內環線(xian),西(xi)連滬蓉國(guo)道(dao)(dao)主干線(xian)成(cheng)(cheng)都至南充(chong)高(gao)(gao)速公(gong)路(lu)(lu)(lu),將構(gou)成(cheng)(cheng)重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)與(yu)成(cheng)(cheng)都兩大(da)城(cheng)市(shi)間的(de)(de)(de)又一條快(kuai)捷的(de)(de)(de)城(cheng)際大(da)通道(dao)(dao)。一期工程(cheng)重(zhong)慶(qing)(qing)高(gao)(gao)灘巖至大(da)學城(cheng)路(lu)(lu)(lu)段(duan)自2006年7月1日(ri)通車運營(ying)以來,日(ri)車流量超過(guo)了兩萬五千輛。
渝(yu)遂高速公(gong)(gong)(gong)路(lu)(lu)設計為雙向四(si)車道,全線共設11個出入口(kou),并(bing)與(yu)已經建成的四(si)川遂寧至成都公(gong)(gong)(gong)路(lu)(lu)相(xiang)通,比原(yuan)有的成渝(yu)高速公(gong)(gong)(gong)路(lu)(lu)縮短(duan)里(li)程約50公(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)。它不僅結束了重(zhong)慶市(shi)西北部銅(tong)梁(liang)、潼南等縣沒有高速公(gong)(gong)(gong)路(lu)(lu)的歷史,對加快重(zhong)慶市(shi)“一(yi)圈兩翼”和(he)統籌城(cheng)鄉試驗區建設,促進西南地(di)區的經濟聯動也將提供(gong)更(geng)加有力(li)的交(jiao)通保(bao)障。
